AHMADANI (AE) – (G Buckell): Raced wide without cover throughout. Rider dismounted the horse prior to the finish. When questioned apprentice G Buckell explained that the horse commenced to hang out shortly after the start and rounding the home turn did not feel comfortable in its action. Trainer Mr H Al Alawi explained that in his opinion the horse do not handle today’s track surface. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. AL YAWAZI (AE) – (T O’Shea): Slow to begin. HUYAM (AE) – (R Ffrench): Approaching the 300 metres was bumped by another runner. AF RAHIA (AE) – (D David): Approaching the 300 metres shifted out bumping another runner. MILLION (AE) – (J Rosales): Slow to begin. ALINA (AE) – (H Bentley): Slow to begin. BEDAYER AL ASAYL (AE) – (W Smith): Over the concluding stages shifted in and brushed the running rail. General: Approaching the 300 metres AF RAHIA (AE) shifted out when not clear bumping HUYAM (AE). Jockey D David (AF RAHIA (AE)) was advised to exercise more care in a similar situation. Trainer Mr A Al Mehairbi (AS ADAID (AE)) was fined AED 500 under the provisions of ERA Rule 51(vii) for the late application to remove the blinkers and add cheek pieces and a shadow roll to the horse. The horse was withdrawn by the order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice at 4.05pm due to sustaining an injury to its right hip. Trainer Ms E Jeanne was notified that prior to the horse being entered to race again she must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness for the horse. MADJANTHIS (US) – (R Mullen): Knuckled badly on jumping dislodging its rider. UBU AL MELS (FR) – (C Hayes): Shifted out on jumping bumping another runner. Steadied approaching the 300 metres. General: Approaching the 300 metres AZ DHABYAN (AE) shifted in when weakening resulting in UBU AL MELS (FR) having to be steadied.
